Our Process

At Armstrong Brands, it is our 360-degree approach to production that ensures a quality product is delivered to market every time an order is placed.

Before any production can ever take place, your goals and objectives are established and agreed on. We then work on a custom foam solution designed to meet your criteria. We will work with you throughout the entire pre-production process to help you make the best choices regarding designs, specifications & materials.

Step 1	Receive	Qualify Raw Material
Step 2	Pre-Expansion Process	We determine/control, Density & Grade of bead specific to your product.
Step 3	Preparation	A Custom Mold is mounted to the molding press. The molding press is programmed to run your product. Quality standards are set & reviewed.
Step 4	Production	Bead (Raw material) is injected into the mold. Steam fuses the bead to exact specifications. Water cools the aluminum mold for part release and air ejects the part from the mold before the cycle starts over.
Step 5	Packaging	Molded Parts are inspected and packed for shipment.
Step 6	Delivery	Product is shipped to your facility in good condition and on time.
Step 7	Recycle	Cooling water & Steam condensed from the molding process is collected and turned back into steam. Any scrap foam material is ground up for re-use.
