We are proud to announce that we have added a new model to our insulated shipping container line. The M8109 insulated shipper offers another great foam container perfect for shipping temperature sensitive products over long distances. The M8109 has inside dimensions of 8.25” Long x 10.75” Wide x 9.5” Deep. In addition this new shipper cooler has 1.5” walls. The thicker walls provide a higher R-value resulting in increased insulation effectiveness for products shipping farther or which require a consistently maintained temperature to prevent spoilage. Many pharmaceutical companies, wholesale meat companies and organ banks commonly use utilize our insulated shipping containers to ensure their items arrive at the destination in perfect condition.
“What is the right sized cooler for...?” We hear this question often and as with most shipping applications there are many variables but also some common best practices. It is important that the product be packed tightly, but with enough room for packing and cooling materials. One common mistake is over packing which can cause damage to the product if the box is dropped because there is not any give within the cooler. Other times it is too loosely packed causing the material to bounce around. The general rule is that materials should be packed tight enough not to bounce around but also have a little room to move. We also keep corrugated cardboard boxes that accommodate all the shipper coolers in our product line for added protection.
